Sharing settings


	Max. number of files. This option sets limit for shared files for user. Setting this number too high is useless because user who will share too many files will be always overloaded with uploads and it will be very hard to download from that user.
	Max. number of files per server. This option allowes you to limit number of total files. It can be used if you have low memory.
	Min. filename length. If filename is very small file cannot be indexed correctly. Default number for minimum filename length is 8.
	Min. song duration. This option allowes you to drop songs that too short. Usually short songs are just incomplete mp3 files.
	Disable file sharing. This option allowes you to disable file sharing and will make server chat-only.
	Inform user. I suggest to uncheck this option because users usually don't care if file was or wasn't shared and sending error messages might take too much bandwidth.
	Disable sharing for modem users. This option doesn't allow modem users to share files. Modem users have small bandwidth and usually do not allow to upload files anyway.


	Extensions list. This allowes you to filter music files from other files.
	Max. number of files. Set maximum number of files of this type. If you set number to 0 users won't be able to share files of this type.
	Min. file size. This option allowes you to filter fakes and incomplete files.
	Max. file size. Same as previous option.
	Bitrates list. Allowes you to block some bitrates. This option is available only for MP3 files.


	Min. number of shared files. If user will share less files than this number he might get kicked out of server. To disable option set it to 0.
	Min. size of shared files. If size of all files that user shares is less than this number user might get kicked out of server. To disable option set it to 0.
	Timeout. It takes some time for client software to share files. I suggest to set this number to 5 minutes.
	Ban users. You can temporary ban users who do not share. If you don't ban user will be able to login again after being killed.
	Ban IP. Most clients allow users to easily change user names. Banning IP is much more effective.
	Check only when server is almost full. If this option is checked people who do noe share enough will be killed only when server is almost full. Almost full means number of users is max_users-5 or more.
	Kick only 10 users. This option allowes you to kill only 10 people who do not share enough. This option is intended to be used together with previous option.
	Kick user even if he joined a channel. Some users join server just to chat, not to share files. This option will allow those users to stay on server without sharing any files.
	Inform mods+ that user was banned. If your server bans too many users for non-sharing this option will make number of notifications less.
