    Napigator settings

    Napigator provides indexing service for opennap and slavanap (and other compatible) servers. Without napigator users won't be able to know which servers are online. To see current list of servers on napigator click here.

    First of all you need a host name. If you don't have a permanent host name you can register it at NO-IP or at DynDNS.

    If you are using router or firewall you need to configure firewall so you would be able to accept incoming connections on port where you run SlavaNap.

    Then you need an account at napigator. Go to admins page on napigator and create account.

    Start your server, login with browser to napigator admins page.
    Click on "Add a new server". Setup instructions on that page are for opennap users - ignore those settings. Put your server hostname and port and click "add server" button. If your server didn't pass test look in FAQ to find out what you did wrong. If your server passed test now you need to configure SlavaNap. Open settings and select Main Settings -> Napigator.

    When you'll make any changes on this page click on "change" button. It might take some time (up to a minute) for settings to take effect.

    List of settings:
    remote host - host name for napigator stats server. Should be "stat.napigator.com"
    remote port - port for napigator stats server. Should be 8890.
    user - your login name on www.napigator.com/admins.
    "enter password" button - password is hidden for security reasons. Click on that button to change password.
    report port - server's port. If you run server on several ports enter any of those ports here.
    custom ip - if you are using router sometimes you need to report another ip to napigator. Put your ip here. If you don't use router or don't need to redirect ip leave this edit field empty.
    "disconnect" button - if you are connected to napigator clicking on this button will disconnect you from napigator. Disconnect might take several seconds.
    auto-disconnect when server is full - this option might be used to avoid server overload.
